Company Statement: Our Vision for Integrated Multimodal AI

January 2026

At Skywork AI, we are witnessing and participating in a fundamental shift in how artificial intelligence is structured and experienced. We want to share our perspective on this transition and how it shapes our work going forward.

For years, conversational AI has been defined by text-based chatbot interfaces. These tools have been transformative, bringing AI into millions of workflows and reshaping how people interact with technology. However, as we've worked closely with users across industries, we've observed that their needs have evolved beyond what single-function text interfaces can provide.

Today's workflows demand more than written input and output. Our users need to generate visuals, synthesize audio, interpret structured data, and transform ideas seamlessly across multiple formats. They need systems that don't force them to start over each time they switch from planning in text to creating a presentation, designing graphics, or analyzing data. This reality has driven us to rethink how we build and deliver AI.

Our Approach: Unified Multimodal Workspaces

We are building integrated environments where multiple AI capabilities work together within a single context. Rather than asking users to navigate between disconnected tools—losing their progress and context along the way—we're creating a workspace where text, visual, audio, and data capabilities coexist and complement each other.

At the heart of our platform is what we call an AI model center: a coordinating layer that maintains continuity as users move from concept to execution across different media types. This isn't just about bundling features together. It's about creating an environment where information persists, evolves, and transforms naturally as creative and analytical needs change.

Why This Matters

The limitations of fragmented workflows have become increasingly clear to us. When users must switch between separate applications, they face repeated setup, context loss, and the frustration of re-entering or reinterpreting information at each stage. We believe there's a better way—one where the AI environment adapts to the task at hand rather than forcing users to adapt to the tools.

Text remains central to how we design these experiences. Written language is still the primary way people structure their thinking, define intent, and direct AI systems. But we're ensuring that text serves as a control mechanism that can seamlessly initiate and guide visual, audio, and data-driven outputs when needed.

Our Commitment

We are committed to building AI platforms that prioritize workflow cohesion and efficiency. As we develop our systems, we're focused on consolidation rather than proliferation—bringing capabilities together meaningfully rather than simply adding more features.

This direction reflects both what we're hearing from our users and broader conversations happening across our industry. As AI continues to develop across multiple forms of media, we believe the future belongs to platforms that support unified access and maintain persistent context throughout the creative and analytical process.

We're building toward that future, and we're eager to continue this conversation with our users, partners, and the broader AI community.

About Us

Skywork AI develops integrated artificial intelligence platforms designed to support multimodal workflows. We bring together text, visual, audio, and data-related capabilities within centralized environments, structured around an AI model center to support coordinated access and transformation across formats.
